A couple of people have commented that no one should be able to be photographed at a school without permission, and that it’s the newspaper’s job to get such permission before shooting. With all due respect, that’s not true.

Last night’s meeting of the Lebanon School Board falls into the category of, “Things You Wish They’d Taught You in J-School.”

Specifically, I must have been absent the day the profs covered how to decide whether to insert your journalistic self into the middle of a public meeting, and if so, how – or whether – to write about it afterward.
