The thump of 8-pound cat on the bed the other night interrupted one of the strangest dreams I can ever remember having. I was watching a musical featuring Richard Dreyfuss as a Roman centurion. He had just begun a really catchy aria, in full military regalia, when the cat woke me up. For a few seconds, I could even remember the tune.
