Why is it that …
– Slightly Older Princess forgets her swimsuit for third grade swimming lessons,
– Little Princess decides she needs to spend five minutes relocating a dying ladybug from the middle of the street to the nearest front yard,
– You have only 1/8 of a box of cereal left, two pieces of bread and next to no milk,
– And you forget the plastic bag for the dog’s, um, walk,
… all on the day everyone woke up late?

Because if everyone was awake, they'd remember things and stay focused on the important tasks.
